I was born in the beautiful state of Washington. My father was with a major oil company, giving our family the opportunity to live in several different states. My family moved to Houston, Texas when I was in middle school, so I consider myself a native Texan. I graduated from Memorial High School and studied business in college.  I began working with a Christian ministry and publishing company in the late seventies. When the company moved out of Houston, I joined an environmental and civil engineering consulting firm, working with several engineers, for over twenty-eight years as office manager, technical editor, and administrative assistant.

My family and I moved to Sun City in 2011 and began attending The Worship Place.  For several years I worked in various volunteer positions at The Worship Place, and hearing they were looking for a receptionist, I applied for the job. After taking a leave of absence in late 2020, I returned in 2023 as a part time receptionist. It's an honor to work with the staff at The Worship Place and it's with a joyful and grateful heart that I serve the many people participating with The Worship Place. 

My daughter and her husband live nearby and are parents to my four precious grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with my family, along with hiking the wonderful trails throughout this area, volunteering, and reading.
