I was born and raised in South Texas but moved to the Central Texas area in 1989.  I graduated from Falfurrias High School and attended what was then Southwest Texas State University where I studied art.  I moved to Corpus Christi in 1980 and began a career in the oil industry researching title for leases.  I switched gears and moved to Austin in 1989 and began a new career in the computer industry at CompuAdd which is where I met my husband, Jim, and we were married in 1992.  I worked in Human Resources as a Benefit Specialist and then became an HR Manager when CompuAdd spun off a part of it’s operations which became 360Commerce (which was eventually purchased by Oracle).  I left the industry in 2004 to help my parents transition to Sun City.  I have worked in the benefit broker/specialist field and front medical office field for companies in Georgetown prior to coming to The Worship Place.  I have been energized, blessed and amazed by the wonderful members and co-workers at The Worship Place who make each day a delight and I consider it a privilege to work here.
